Institutional Information to include- Digipak research

A Digipak must include information regarding the producers names and where the music was actually made. The way this is done is usually the same and features on the back of the CD case for example, or embedded in a text. This is very important when creating a digipak for an artist as it shows the details of where the music was actually produced and who by.

Some of the features which are important to this are;

  1. Showing the name of the record company is highly important institutional information because it provides the audience with where the music was made and also helps place the artist it comes from into an institutional background. We will include the name and logo for Lava Records on our digipak to show where our song was produced.
  2. Usually for institutional information, the name of the artists or band members are also a necessity as well as the subsidy content of the artist. We will include our artists name on the digipak
  3. If the song is featuring or has been remixed by another artist, they too should be recognised and mentioned on the cover of the digipak for the audience to see
  4. It should mention the place of which the song was produced/filmed/created for legal purposes
  5. Band and/ or artist management should be acknowledged within the institutional information provided
  6. Finally, those who have directed or helped produce any of the art or design which has come with the artists songs or albums should too be credited.
For example, these are some digipa
ks which have acknowledged the above correctly..
