PRACTISED EDITING AND PHOTOSHOP- DIGIPAK

After taking our images for our digipak I decided that this is the image which I want to use for my main front cover on my digipak as I believe it is suiting to the features of the digipak and our final product.

The artist is captured in this image and she is adopting the conventional features of an alternative artist such as the mise en scene aspects of the image; the make up is unique with very little make up and only a few colours around the eyes. Additionally the contrast between the black coat and the flowers of the setting which adds to the originality of the digipak.

This is just a practise editing but I think the pink tinted filter is conventional to the fact that the album is called the Love Club and it has a dominantly pink/ red toned filter.

The artist has a straight face showing very little emotion which is stereotypical to the notion that indie and alternative artists are often conveyed as 'moody'.
