LOCATION SHOTS
When choosing the location of our digipak images we thought about the conventional areas which could potentially connote the alternative genre as well as the alternative artist. We chose the canal in Manchester as we thought the tunnels and the graffiti were really good features to include for the setting of our digipak.
The natural lighting was quite high-key and the weather was mild which enabled us to get clear shots where we could have a full range of edit and Photoshop. The shots below reflect the location of which we took the digipak photographs and we felt it necessary to document where the pictures are going to be taken.
Conventionally, the alternative genre often features album covers which are typically set in a isolated and desolate location; a certain level of synergy will be conveyed here as our digipak location partially reflects the same conventions in which we utilised in our music video.
